Remove Drive Labels Column in Drive Combobox

Not with TC only.
In theory there is [DriveHints] section in wincmd.ini which allows to change drives names but it ignores empty entries and gets the names from system so…
The only way is to remove drives labels from Windows:
My Computer -> right click on drive -> Properties -> delete label.

I don't think it's possible. The only thing you can do is to remove as many labels as possible (for disks) and shrink these for CD/DVD and Network Neighbourhood (by setting them as single dots). It will not remove them completely but make smaller.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to replace all labels in TC 7.04a because network ones can be changed from 7.5 only IIRC.

Actually you can remove this completely. You need to uncheck the following option:
Configuration - Options - Display - Show volume labels/network paths for drives
Configuration - Options - Display - Show volume labels/network paths for drives
