No sort on UNC directories

A pane displaying a UNC path drive, for example "\\mtl-vox\r$\shared" will not sort on the desired column when the column header is clicked.
However, it will sort correctly on local drives.
Was reproduced using a clean install of 7.5 Beta3 and Beta4 on XP SP3

This was most probably related to a Microsoft "anomalie"
Since the workstation has rebooted, I have not been able to reproduce the problem
