Custom Synchronisation

Post by *jiri_t »

Hello,

would it be possible to add a button Custom synchronisation to synchronisation apps, where I could specify a list of foldres I need to synchronise. The configuration could be done via simple text file ini file. This will be very usefull button to be able synchronise all folders at one time I need.

Thx

:) Hello !

• I assume that you could aleady do something in that painting using the internal command with parameter :
SYNCOPEN <sync operation>=–6;Open stored sync operation

You need Total Commander 7.5 beta 5:
1. Select the folders which you want to synchronize
2. Open "Synchronize dirs"
3. Click the folder button in the upper left
4. Save the settings - beta 5 will ask you for a location to save the list of selected folders

Now you can use the saved synchronize options with the stored folder list.

Well thanks that's Great. But how I could synchronise these folders by one click at one time. This will be very useful to keep up to date data between 2 comps.

Thanks
