TC 7.50 build : zip of small files yields corrupted zip file

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

:) Hello ! Welcome aboard !

• Please, could you be more precise ? That doesn't occur here, and I didn't notice a single small corrupted ZIP
all along the (numerous) private and public 7.5 beta versions !
- I checked now as :
1. Pack the NO.BAR (26 bytes) file from the TC dir. to an empty test folder.
2. Create a SHA check-sum,
3. Verify the ZIP from that check-sum : All is OK…

• Could you provide a “corrupted” ZIP you made ?

 Kind regards,
Claude

Cannot confirm either. Can you provide a sample file which cannot be zipped correctly? I have been using the same zip pack code for >10 years now, and I'm not aware of such a problem. TC checks each archive immediately after packing, so such an error would be found very quickly.

Sorry, without more details I have to move this topic to "will not be changed". I haven't received any similar reports so far.
