I can't see full root directory contents at my flash drive

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

I can't see full root directory contents at my flash drive

Post by *Ryadovoy »

Hi guys.
When I go to my flash drive with TC I cannot see some files and all catalogs.

My Flash is Transcend 16 GB with installed slax linux (portable slackware)
and some soft from portableapps.com

How I can put my screenshot?

Have a good day.

PS: I can't put my bugreport to this forum.
I wrote this message via editing... it so strange :)
I get this message always:

Try enabling hidden/system files via Configuration - Options - Display.

Yes you is right, but Total commander in the tree show me folders from root directory, but in the files/folders list I can not see any folders.

Settings configuration take no effect for folders tree?

You mean the Alt+F10 tree? Try to reload it with F2.

No, it is another tree, which shows with menu command Show->Separate Tree->2(One For Each Panel)

This situation confused me and I thought that TC cannot show some files/folders...

In the folders tree I see hidden or system folders always (with disabled "show hidden files" option too)
But in the files/folders list I see only non-hidden or non-system folders.

The same behaviour in TC v7.04a

Do you use the option "always load complete directory tree" in configuration - options - display? It uses the same treeinfo cache file as Alt+F10.
