No promting when copying files with the same name from archi

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

No promting when copying files with the same name from archi

Post by *Rimdur »

I have a file in a zip archive that has the same name as a file on one of my drives. If I doubleclick on the archive and uses F5 to copy the file to the drive where I keep the file TC does not promt to ask if I want to overwrite the file. If the file is not in a zip archive TC promts me to ask if I want to overwrite the file.

Cannot confirm with TC 7.50a on WinXP and internal ZIP.
Overwrite dialog is shown always.

Which OS / TC version are you using ?

Tried it on Vista with same result: Overwrite dialog is shown always.

May you have enabled "Overwrite existing files" option at copy dialog ?
Note: TC keeps the last set state !
