Bug or feature: no refreshment after quick view off

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Bug or feature: no refreshment after quick view off

Post by *Vochomurka »

1. Open any directory in both panels;
2. Press Ctrl+Q. Quick view panel opens in target panel;
3. Press F7 and enter any characters - a new directory is created in source panel;
4. Press Ctrl+Q again. Quick view panel disappears, but the target panel presents the OLD view, without the directory just created! Now panels show the SAME directory with DIFFERENT CONTENTS. The Tab and Ctrl+R must be pressed to refresh another panel.

If it is by design, question is why. If it is a bug, would it be reasonable to refresh the target panel automatically after switching off the quick view mode?

Not confirmed with almost all options (w/o 3rd) selected under Configuration -> Operation -> Refresh -> Auto-Refresh…

Initially no checkbox is set on the "Refresh" configuration tab. Now I check the first checkbox "Refresh when files...". I've just thought that "files" and "directories" differ. What about adding "... and when directory structure is changed"?
