Total Commander 7.50a fin crash at context menu

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

WinXP SP3 rus IE6

Sometimes a context menu "loses" his normal translated look and becames a "minimalist english look". After that Total crashes if I click any point of this menu. I haven`t installed any shellexts last time. The one reason that I see here is a malware, which I got occasionally one week ago. I have cleaned it manually, as Avira Antivir can`t see it. Interesting, that I cannot find any abnormal shell extentions on my system after that.

Please make a search for ShellExView here in the forum to get instructions to fix it.

The crash happens in function
IContextMenu->QueryContextMenu

so it is most likely caused by a faulty shell extension.

Is it possible to some shell extention to hide itself from ShellExView? Its because of the following. I haven`t install anything on my system last time and I cannot see nothing except of my old good extentions, which never caused problems, with the ShellExView. Must I disable these oldies anyway in order to find the problem?

Try.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Some users could resolve it by disabling and then re-enabling all context menu shell extensions. Apparently their registry entries had been damaged somehow...
