.
And there's the small matter of what TC's own icon is.

After the rush of explanations for that, the question that follows is: What is a 'floppy disk'?
:-|

Is it anything like an SSD..?

Perhaps it's time for the UN flag overlaying the Swiss flag.
Stylised horizontal arrows like those on the Tab key..

Diskette is a TC symbol for years, and many people know it.

TCs Icon is fine and will hopefully stay like it is.
If you to young to know what a floppy is you have allways wikipedia & google to check for it...

Complaining about a floppy icon is plain stupid :!:

This I could understand:

New Icon

I'm thinking of Christian, and human behaviour.
We are all familiar with the TC icon, but surely Christian is interested in new users, new users paying for licences?
And buyers are interested in 'new': newness, freshness, and new capabilities. A refreshed image is often as good as a totally revised product.
Oldness is usually perceived as irrelevance.
Not knowing that is plain ......
A relatively small item, but important, IMO.

Changing the Disc-Icon would be like Audio, Mercedes or VW changing there symbols - just because Microsoft does it all the time its NOT needed for TC ...

Noone growing up and being new to cars would want them have another symbol...

Any news on this? I would love to see the native implementation of the OS-icons. Thank you!

Yes, I have added it to my to do list for TC 8.1. It shouldn't be too difficult to add.
Is it still on the todo list?

Hope, Christian will have enough time to implement this feature after hard work on 8.50 :-)
