Sysnative folder tooltip shows folder date

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Sysnative folder tooltip shows folder date

Post by *MVV »

Not so bad bug but looks strange. In 'date' column there is no date shown for C:\Windows\Sysnative folder in 64-bit Windows, but folder's tooltip shows some date.

I think no tooltip should be shown there, or maybe some tooltip with text like 'Link to real System32 folder'?
BTW, other virtual folders may also have such tooltip.

Well, the tooltip isn't created by TC itself, it's requested from Windows via OLE2. Apparently Windows somehow manages to get the date/time from the hidden folder, don't ask me why.

So Sysnative tooltip shows real System32 date? Thanks for answer.
Well, if Windows itself adds this field, so TC really can't change it.
