Drag and drop from Explorer to TC works one way only

Hello,

I've noticed, that I can not drag and drop files/folders from Exlorer to TC.
What I can do only is: right click in Explorer >> copy >> right click on the folder in TC >> select paste.

However I can drag and drop from TC to Explorer. So the other way round it works well.

Is it a bug or am I doing sth wrong? I checked the options, but didnt find any setup switch for this.

Sounds like you are running Total Commander in "elevated" mode, with full admin rights. Windows doesn't allow drag&drop from programs with normal rights to programs with higher rights, for security reasons.

thanks a lot! you were right. When I removed the tick from "run this program as administrator" at the shortcut settings it works fine now. Thanks again!
