for a lot of plugins both the 32 and the 64 bit versions are stored in one directory. Can you provide the same? For example by using a folder redist_x64 for the 64 bit oracle files?

this becomes handy if you have both versions of tc in the same directory. So one can use the same wincmd.ini for both tc versions.

Until an official solution is available i "solved" this problem by changing the hard coded string "redist" to "redx64" via hexeditor in the .wlx64 file.

Not the best solution but it works.

Thanks for the plugin!

One suggestion though:

please enhance the sentence
And copy "redist" folder to plugin folder.
in your readme.txt to something like

And copy the complete "redist" folder into the uLister Plugin folder, e.g. %totalcommanderpath%\plugins\wlx\uLister\redist

That would have saved me like 30minutes of trying to copy the files into different locations ;)

... only for people with the "wrong" OS:
Note that when relying on DEP for exploit mitigation, it is important to use a system that supports Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) as well. ASLR is not supported by Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 or earlier. ASLR was introduced with Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.

For me its from vw-8-3-7-win-x86-32.zip
Don't know what ca is.
The wlx itself does not need any special DLLs

No, they don't
You should download the zip file "Windows (x86-32)" under
Viewer Technology 8.3.7
This the full link:
http://download.oracle.com/otn/outsidein/vw-8-3-7-win-x86-32.zip

You have downloaded the Content Access
which is not what you need for ULister !

for those who don't want to register with oracle just for a redist download do a google search for vw-8-3-7-win-x86-32.zip
https://www.google.com/search?q=vw-8-3-7-win-x86-32.zip
you can find the zip at an electronic locker as the 4-th result, that zip is clean and the files have the original digital signature.

Hello,

Has anyone else noticed a problem with uLister no longer handling google doc exports saved locally in the docx format? I keep seeing empty pages when attempting to preview such files..

Licence?

Post by *Peter »

Hi

I took a view to the licence of Oracle, and there I find:

Code: Select all

You may not:
- use the programs for your own internal data processing or for any commercial or production purposes, or use the programs for any purpose except the development of your application;
:?: :?:

So I may develop something, but may not use it?

Who can explain?

How can I set ulister to deside whether or not to load a file by extension name of the file? There are so many types in your formates.txt. I only want to use ulister to preview .doc files.
