columns not resizing when in "full" mode

Post by *bagou01 »

hi
i'm using TCUP and i noticed that columns, when in "full" mode, don't automaticaly scale if you move the middle bar between the left and right panels.
they do so when in "brief" mode, but don't in "full" mode....

bug?

This is by design - the left and right panels always have the same column widths in full view. The reason is that you can move the separator for e.g. quick view mode without reducing the size of the name column.

mmmh thanks for the answer...
however, i use TC only in full mode. so would there be a way for the columns to resize when i move the middle section ?
like, say, i move the middle section separator to 3/4 right, to have a big left panel and a small right panel, (because i put thumbnail view in the left panel for e.g.), and i need to see all the details of the full mode anyway in the right panel... do i have to put back the middle separator to the middle of the screen, then resize my columns manually so they are small, then put my middle separator back again to 3/4 ?

thanks again
