[8.0ß1] Panel headers and column headers are without border

Post by *Flint »

Screenshots:
TC 7.56a
TC 8.0β1 x64

You can see that there is no border around the current path in the panel headers in TC 8, so that the header and tabstops in the inactive panel are not separated.

OS: WinXP SP2 x64.

I don't confirm. It seems to be due to the Windows theme (I don't use one).

I'm using classic theme too, and can't confirm. But IMHO the reason may be in Lazarus controls (slightly different drawing style), so I don't think it is a bug. Or maybe the reason is that old TC panel has no themed (different colour).

As for me, the only visual difference between x32 and x64 is little separator between buttons '*' and '>' (it is absent in x64 and presents in x32 - but is absent in both posted screenshots). Also x32 shows a separator before '\' button while x64 - not.

For me the main difference is that visually the header of the inactive panel is "merged" together with the column headers: both have the same white color. In older versions and in 8.0-x32 there is a gray delimiter between them; in 8.0-x64 there is no such delimiter.

Yes, the Lazarus controls are slightly different. Currently I don't plan to change them, except if there is a lot of demand (it's a lot of work really).

That is exactly the same I see in the 64bit version using a Luna theme under Win 7. It is highly annoying.
