Not Confirmed.
ActiveRight=0 and ActiveRight=1 works as expected with disabled Startupscreen.
TC8.0ß16 x32/x64 Windows7 x64.

Do you use a command line parameter(/P=L or R) to start TC?

hi HolgerK ,

Sorry for my careless.

I tested that again .
[Configuration]
ActiveRight=1
StartupScreen=0
DirTabOptions=945
[Layout]
DriveCombo=0
CmdLine=0
I found that

1.) if set StartupScreen=0 DriveComb=0 CmdLine=0 ,ActiveRight didn't work.

2.) if one of DriveComb and CmdLine didn't equal 0, ActiveRight works.

3.) if both DriveComb and CmdLine equal 0,and (StartupScreen=1 DirTabOptions=945),ActiveRight works.

4.) if both DriveComb and CmdLine equal 0,and (StartupScreen=1 DirTabOptions=824),ActiveRight didn't work.
The value of DirTabOptions makes a difference to ActiveRight

I confirm that with the INI file quoted above TC opens with cursor in the left panel.

Okay, confirmed with this ini-file setting.
x64 version ignores the ActiveRight in this case while x32 version is okay.
