- Edit your wincmd.ini
- Add under [Configuration]
SearchInFiles=*.DOCX *.XLSX
I can read English, but... I write like Tarzan. (sorry)

In addition to that, you need to check the option "Search archives" (the docx files are zip-packed) and also UTF-8, since XML is usually stored with UTF-8 encoding.

Search in Archives

Post by *fc62 »

I'm trying to search in archives and following the indication in this post it works correctly.
I have an additional question: why it is not possible to feed to list box the searched results? The button command seems disabled?
Can I do that in a different way?
Thanks

You can only copy the results with Ctrl+C, because TC couldn't do anything with a mix of files and files in archives.

Ok, many thanks. Using CTRL+C is more than sufficient for my purpose.
