Firstly, I'm sorry to users of Imagine. :(
I was busy with my job and with so many others. :(
So, I couldn't support at forum.

I made my forum lately. :)

You can post suggestions or report bugs at there.
Also, current latest WIP version can be found at there.
Of course, current latest stable version can be found at there, too.

Thank you for using Imagine! :)

I hope you wil still read also THIS forum. You see... it's easier to read one forum than several for us.

Anyway, thanks for the new version.

Thanks for you efforts on setting up a separate forum but honestly I'd prefer discussing imagine and other plugins in the TC forum.
I don't wanna end up with 20 different registrations on 20 different forums, too much fuss imho.

Maybe ghisler should think about a separate developer forum where each plugin has its separate thread without distracting discussions on plugins in general.

Just my two cents, good luck anyway! ;)

Installing your WIP version now, can't wait to see it.

Edit: Rendering is extremely slow, needs several seconds to load an image, back to stable. If I can help you with details, tell me what you wanna know. :)

Version 0.8.4.0 beta 1 'Feb 26 2004
- 'Display while loading' option added.

You can switch it off in Imagine's Preferences [Alt+Enter].
Rendering speed returns to normal (speedy) again.

Don't know why nyam build in this option. Maybe 386/486 Nostalgia? :)

Sorry for that.
I couldn't think that. :(
I'll announce and support at here firstly! :)

But, I thought that Announcing WIP(work in progress) version frequently seems to be bothering to Mr. Ghisler and forum users. :(
But now, It was my misunderstanding. :)

Don't worry!
I'll announce and support Imagine at here!

Hi deus-ex :)

Currently, 'Display while loading' is a very slower when 'Fit to window' or 'Fit only big images' options are checked.

I'll fix the problem as soon as possible.

BTW, Are there many users who use 'Fit to window' or 'Fit only big images'?

Currently, Checking off 'Display while loading' option is the method for solving that problem.

Hi nyam :).

Yes, i'm using 'Fit to window' all the time.
It's handy for small resolution files (my desktop resolution is 1280x1024x32).

Could you please enable zooming with 'Fit to window' option on?
Now, if i want to use zoom i have to switch it off first, when finished with
zooming i have to switch it on again.

A lill' bit anoying, don't you think? ;)

P.S.: No, whe are not bothered when you announce new versions of Imagine.
Be it wip, alpha, beta, final, whatever.... Just let them come in :D

For me 'Fit only big images' is always 'on' excepted when I zoom.

Thanks for this great soft

Thanks for understanding us about the forum :-)

Thans for faster information displaying, it works much better now.

Thanks for adding multilanguage support (I will send you Polish translation later).

Unfortunately there is still no hourglass coursor during long lasting operations.

I also always use "Fit only big images".
Altought you can use zooming with this option on - there is a strange behavior while I try to zoom the image OUT (press "-"). It first zooms it IN (to 70%) and then after next pressing "-" it zooms it out.

BTW: in the "Fit only big images" mode there is no info about the current scale (zooming) - there is only info "Fitted".

But, I thought that Announcing WIP(work in progress) version frequently seems to be bothering to Mr. Ghisler and forum users.
The only thing that would bother me is a separate thread for each sub alpha prerelease version 'cause that could easily screw up the forum. :)
I don't think that anyone has something against regular updates, I am a version junkie and update everything as soon it is released, no matter if it's final or not.
Are there many users who use 'Fit to window' or 'Fit only big images'?
Activated here nearly permanently, yep.

Back to the beta again, sweet. Unchecking "Display while loading" did the trick, thanks deus-ex. :)

Is there any chance for mouse wheel support to scroll through the pics?

Hi, nyam
Thanks for adding "delete" menu in new version. I tried it.
After deleting a file, the view of the file is still there. And I can't switch to next file by pressing space. (Sure, the file has been killed.)
It will be better after a file is deleted, the view will swith to next file.

E.g. I am :). Thanks for "Alt"+"Enter" for "Preference" dialog. What about other suggestions, can you comment them?
Thank you in advance.[/face]

Hi, nyam ,
Are you planning to add support for 48 bit Tif and Psd-s?
It would be great!
