Please remove shortcut strings in the menu file (*.MNU)
:)   Hi again,
• It's done! The mess in the menus has gone, but:
- some direct keybord-shortcuts in the menus are not translated, others are...
- still the same numerous items not translated in the option-sheets.

• Tested: *.dcx works fine.
To be continued...

Here's what to do (gimmie five): ;)

1. paste contents of codebox into new file
2. decode it with 'mime/uue/xxe-decode' in Totalcommander's Filemenu
3. decompress resulting <German.rar> into Imagine's Language subdir
4. start Imagine, press [Alt+Enter], choose Language-Tab, select <Deutsch.mnu> & <Deutsch.lng>
5. have a cup of coffee, relax and wait for a new release of Imagine :)

I did'nt send this update to you by e-mail, yet. As you said, we should post new translations here.
If you want me to send them to you, please just let me know.

Comments:
EXIF-infobox = Infobox width should be (dynamically?) bigger. Currently the 'Tag'-column gets cut off by the 'Value'-column.

EXIF-infobox = 'Copy to Clipboard' button textsize is to small

Properties/Shortcuts = 'Reset all' button textsize is to small

Properties/Shortcuts = Should'nt the commands in the commandbox be translateable, too?

Zooming = Starts always from normal imagedisplaysize. I.e., Imagine does'nt take into account, if 'Fit to Window' is on, hence it ignores that
images are allready in a zoomed state. When 'Fit to Window' is on, zoomstart and zoomreset should be set equal to current 'Fit to Window' zoomfactor.

Suggestion:
If EXIF-Info is found, display a simple EXIF-Label in the Statusbar, else leave empty.

Thank you, best regards. :D

:)   Hello !
• Though finally it works, I had a TC message when decoding:
"Warning! Prohibited characters in the source-file" ? Odd...
EXIF-infobox = Infobox width should be (dynamically?) bigger
• Right, the same in French, but I could use some abbreviations.
EXIF-infobox = 'Copy to Clipboard' button textsize is to small
• Right too... Needs an abbreviation.
Properties/Shortcuts = 'Reset all' button textsize is to small
• I used a trick, like Ganz.. > "0" (in French: "Tous à zéro"); hence, the button is wide enough.
Suggestion:
If EXIF-Info is found, display a simple EXIF-Label in the Statusbar, else leave empty.
Great idea ! I support it. That'ld allow to know directly whether the current pic has EXIF features. It'ld be very useful.

• A bug you can't see in German: the line

Code: Select all

40019="RGB"
it's the same in German... But in French / Spanish etc. it's RVB. That works in the menus, but not in the status-bar, when clicking a point to get infos for a pixel. You could see that, changing temporarily RGV with other fancy characters, i.e. ABC.
Properties/Shortcuts = Should'nt the commands in the commandbox be translateable, too?
• I guess that they are internal commands, like the TC ones, so not translatable...
• Other: the effects names in "Filter" menu are not translatable currently, but I suggested this to Nyam, and he'll add in the next beta. The same for the scrolling list of the "Filter Browser" dialog-box...

2nyam
• When browsing a dir. inside a ZIP, the "Space-bar" / "BackSpace" keys don't work. I ought to use the method of Lister: select all , then N >>> <<< P.
• It should be nice to have the Imagine files sorting-mode matching with the TC current one automatically...
   Kind regards,
Claude

While assigning a new shortcut it would be better IMHO to change the old one with the new one. Now it's added to the previous one and you have 2 shortcuts for one command so you have to delete the previous one manually.

When you press a new shortcut the new label appears below: "Currently assigned to:" - unfortunately it always shows: "None" even if the shotrtcut IS assigned to some command.

Thank you for translating! :)

You don't have to send me the translated document.
If you attach here, I'll update. :)

EXIF information seems to be narrow.
I also think so and it'll be bigger. :)
And it'll have the ability of window maximizing.

'Copy to Clipboard' and 'Reset all' buttons will be larger too.

About the tanslating of command strings,
I have no plan of that yet.
Sorry. :?

I may be fixed later. :)
If EXIF-Info is found, display a simple EXIF-Label in the Statusbar, else leave empty.
Wow, It'll be very convenient. :)
Thanks for the suggestion! :)

It seems to be not easy. :?
Because the plugin cannot know where the file is in the archive or not. :(

Plugin can't know sorting-mode of TC. :(
it may be possible when Imagine plugin read the wincmd.ini manually.

A command can be have multiple shortcuts.
For example,
I'm using the 'ViewZoomToNormal' as 'Num *' and 'Ctrl+H'.
And, I'm using the 'FileOpen' as 'Ctrl+O' and 'Insert'.

So, deleting the previous one manually is necessary. :(

[/quote]
It seems to be mysterious. :(
If the shortcut is assigned to some command, the text shows the command string. :(
I'll check it again.

It could---

:)  Hello !
• Like I told to deus-ex in order to verify, the line :

Code: Select all

40019="RGB"
is translated alright in the menus, but not on the status-bar when clicking a point to get infos...
It seems to be not easy.
Because the plugin cannot know where the file is in the archive or not.
• Yes, it could ! In fact, the files are unpacked in a TEMP dir., generally C:\windows\temp\_tc (default, cannot be changed)
- For the internal ZIP, the TEMP dir can be different, and it is defined in <wincmd.ini>:

Code: Select all

[Packer]
InternalzipTemp=c:\Temp
in example at home... The real path is of course: C:\temp\_tc
• Hence, the files are there as in any usual dir. Just a OR logic to see where the unpacked files are... ?

• Other: in some cases, the transparency-colour doesn't work. Please, watch this below for an icon 8-BPP:
Image: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/charries/relais/transparence.png
* But generally, I get alright the "White" BkGr for the transparency.
* On this box, the "OK" button isn't translated.
- Note: I reduced the box to get a smaller image

 Kind regards,
Claude
