WebDav plugin does not preserve folder file time stamp

Post by *Grego »

I have installed the latest WebDav plugin (v2.3) and am connecting to a Synology NAS. When copying files from the computer the folder and file time stamps are not preserved, instead all copied folders and files get the actual date/time when copied. Creates a problem when sharing/synchronizing files/folders between computers.

Using Directory Sync Pro when copying the same data the folder and file time stamps are preserved.

Can this be fixed?

The WebDAV protocol does not support the preserving of the timestamp when uploading. I guess that Directory Sync Pro doesn't use the webDAV protocol - maybe FTP?

Understand. Is there a way to make folder/files time stamps to be preserved anyway? Would be a great benefit when sharing/synchronizing files/folders between computers.

Seems like when downloading files from the Synology NAS to my mobile using WebDAV file time stamps are preserved but not folder time stamps.

Currently only file timestamps can be preserved, it's a limitation of the copy functions within Total Commander.

I have the same time stamp issue when using WebDAV plug-in. Is there any time plan when this issue can be solved?
