Dodging TC to fullscreen on Windows 8 (floating point error)

Post by *therealmarv »

Hello this happens often (not everytime) when I dodge the not maximized TC to the top so that it takes the fullscreen on Windows 8 RTM (running in Virtualbox 4.2 RC1)

Thanks, I will check it. Sounds like Windows 8 tries to set a 0 pixel width or height...

I have installed Windows 8 RTM now too on VirtualBox 4.1.20 r80170, but I do not get any crash.

Some questions:
1. Do we mean the same with "dodging"? I'm grabbing the title bar with the mouse and drag it to the upper edge of the Windows 8 screen. Windows 8 shows a transparent maximized frame. Now I release the mouse button, and TC is maximized.

2. Which version and language version of Windows 8 do you use? I'm using the English Windows 8 Professional 64-bit version, so I can test both the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of TC.

3. How do you run Virtual box? Maximized or as a window? I'm running it as a window, and Windows 8 is unmodified after the install, except for the installation of Total Commander.
