Edit Path Feature - a new development
Now that we can edit the path in the title bar of the files/folders lists it would be very important to have an autocomplete feature associated, like we can see in Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer.
It's very annoying to try to remember the name of that folder that we don't use for a long time.

I do prefer it like we can see it in CMD.EXE, but something tells me we'll see RE full support first rather than any kind of autocompletion somewhere in Commander

Well, I am not quite able to see what this Cm_EditPath (enhanced title bar) is good for anyway and why so many people asked for it.
TC offers more comfortable ways of switching between drives and directories than typing in directory paths in a small edit box (directory history, ctrl+pageup/pagedown, directory tree).
I do not see that Cm_EditPath can do anything that the TC command line could not do. Except that I have to prefix "cd " in command line. But this does not really make a difference, does it.
So what is this hype about Cm_EditPath all about?
Are you all trying to get the "good old Unix/DOS feeling" back by asking for a restricted command line box
+ which only allows you to switch between directories and drives
+ which makes you type in partial pathnames (which you cannot remember and do not want to, either, as you all stress)
+ which supports your bad memories by auto-completion
From my point of view, Cm_EditPath is a pretty pointless new feature. So I do not see any sense in enhancing it.
Well, now, come on folks, and hit me for being a dissident.
Or try to achieve the impossible: enlighten the darkness of my ignorance.

TC Wishlist: Dropdown History in Panel Title area
Now that the panel title is active for the edit path feature, it seems to me a natural evolution to convert that control to a dropdown combo list that contains the History List for that panel.
Though I have a button on my toolbar that displays the History List, I have to mouse up to it to display the list, then mouse back down to the list to select a path.
Just clicking the combo dropdown at the top of the panel would reduce the mouse movements required to almost none.
It makes sense then to also include little "forward" and "back" buttons in the panel title....
