External Viewer associate folder with program?

Post by *junpet »

So, it says "All files with extensions", but I want that, if I press F3 on a folder, it opens in Faststone image viewer. I could do that with image files, because just typed jpg, png, gif, bmp. But I can't do this with folders.

How or where can I set that? Thanks!

The simplest way would be to create a button/command with
Command: C:\<PathTo>\FSViewer.exe
Parameters: "%P%O.%E"

but if you *really* want it on F3 you could use AppLoader. AppLoader isn't really easy to configure but it's very powerful when it comes to those "special needs".

After installed AppLoader plugin

Edit AppLoader.ini

Find :dir=explorer
and change to :dir=C:\<PathTo>\FSViewer.exe

Thanks both of you! I just made a button too, but I think I will not use it, but will see.
