"Left mouse button" and multiple files selection?

Hi, when "Left Mouse Button (Windows Standard)" under "Mouse Selection Mode" is enabled
Shouldn't the capability to select multiple files also move from the right to the left mouse button?

Because with LMB on, there is no way to select multiple files just with the mouse, or is it?

ctrl/shift doesn't count, thanks!

Yes, it is impossible to select multiple files using just mouse in LMB selection mode. Problem is that LMB dragging triggers drag-and-drop function, and there is no rectangular selection in TC.

Anyway, RMB mode is much more useful because of stable selection, and it may be used w/o keyboard. The only downside of RMB selection mode is that you have to hold RMB a while in order to open context menu (or use a shortcut for opening menu).

You can still select multiple files by clicking on their icons.

This was mainly added for touch screens, but I'm regularly using it with the mouse too...
