LAN plugin: "Move" doesn't work

Post by *OrdosDeviator »

"Move" button works like "Copy" button if I move files from network to Android device. Files still exist.
I have to select files again and tap "Delete".

It busted in last versions. Couple versions ago it worked fine.

Yes, it's a known bug, which is fixed in TC 2.60 beta. I hope to release the new final version soon.

Now it works correctly when moving from network to Android, but the other way round, from Android to network, it just copies.

Yes it does, because I can't be 100% sure that the network drive really received the file. It may return OK when the file hasn't been 100% received.

Can you add this behavior as a configurable option? It would be much more convenient when moving many files (e.g. photos from camera), because currently I have to select all files twice - once for copying and once for deletion - and selecting many files on Android is a very tedious process, because I have to tap each file individually (unlike the Windows version where I can just drag the mouse holding the right button). I have never encountered the situation when TC said a file was copied but actually it wasn't.

SlimShaggy,

Tap on first, long-tap on first, tap Select files, tap on last.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Thank you, that's much better! Actually, it even looks like the first tap isn't necessary: "long-tap on first, tap Select files, tap on last" is enough.
