Wrong drag cursor when trying to move

Post by *Lefteous »

When I try to drag&drop a file/folder to another folder on the same or the other side by pressing the shift modifier the drag cursor remains in copy state.
When doing the same by pressing the right mouse button the drag cursor is changed correctly to move.

So far I can only reproduce it on a virtual machine (Parallels 10 running Windows 7).

NOT confirmed, Windows 7 x64. Maybe it's a problem of cursor handling in parallels? Tried with VMWARE, no problem.

This problem is random. This morning I can left clic to move/copy files.
It's the 5th times this problem occurred since last week. Never occurred to me before that, maybe related to Windows Update?

Multiple reboot of TC and my computer didn't solve the problem.

It appends on all type of media (network, local and usb).

I could create a VirtualBox install. I thought we have the same problem. But maybe not.

Do you want me to create another topic?

Yes, please create a new topic if it's NOT related to a virtual machine. Please provide as much information as possible.

Sorry for the noise. I found what was my problem and though it may help :

It was the service for http://synergy-project.org/synergy/ that was causing my cursor to change from time to times.

I disabled it and now everything works. Thanks for your help.
