I don't know if I missed something, or would this be a feature request.
I was wondering if "Config > Define colors by file type"
could be a part of "Custom View Modes" ?
I mean I would like to want to create a "Custom View Mode"
where a special "Define colors by file type"-configuration would be activated.
Or is there a workaround be utilizing "Auto-run commands"?

No, currently not - different file types would be way too large to store in a custom view mode. Maybe copying around redirected ini files via em_command would be possible, but the colors would have to be reloaded too...

Sorry, I'm late to the View Mode party but this would be the only place where I'd use and therefore expect the ability to use of colors for specific file types.
So I respectfully request the reconsideration of the implementation of such a feature.
If not specific filetype colors per View Mode, maybe a general on/off option?
There's a missing "cm_ToggleFileTypeColors" anyway (afaik).
