Tabs don't stay set

Post by *CWBillow »

I am running 9.0B7, so this could well be a hitch in the version:

I set up several tabs, one for each of the different user profiles. I saved them each, using "Save Position" and "Save Settings", but the tabs do not seem to stay set.

They are all set at "C:\Users\Specific User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs"

They seem to set and stay...until after a reboot or reload all the tabs are pointed at "C:\Users\" and have to be re-established.

Is it the beta, or something I need to do?

Hi CWBillow,
Configuration - Options - Operation - Save on exit?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Am I supposed to have that set, or make sure that it is NOT set? All that is checked there now is Directory History. And if I DO set those, will that then cause my starting TC to NOT start at the "default positions for the left and right windows?

I THINK I found it:

If I set my shortcut to "Run as Administrator" it seems to work properly.

Does that sound right?

Well, as user you can only access your own user profile, not that of other users. So it's quite logical that TC resets the directory to the one it can access - C:\Users.
