TC7 as freeware

Post by *lordmmx »

Hi,

I'm just wondering, if you ever considered releasing old/older version of TC as a freeware, or as a AD supported application.

AD Supported variant could be for example without plugin functionality.

just suggestion.

I purchased my TC version 10 years ago and ALL new versions had been free since then.

You may try TC for a period of 30 days with full functionality.
Just a note: TC will not stop working after this period ;-)

So, no need for a freeware ...

i am using tcmd since it was wincmd 4.something :)

i tried alternatives , but naah, I'm just so used to Total Commander.

also got oldest/first releases to play around with, and I have to admit, that it went trough a lot of changes to become the best file manager.

I tried FreeCommander and DoubleCommander but can't get used to them.

Mr. Ghisler, please, keep up awesome work, you are doing :) that's my suggestion.

What is the problem with an onetime payment for a lifetime of updates? Hardly any software does that.

Besides that if you really do not want to pay for this great piece of software of daily use, CLICK number 1-2-3 and ... Politeness is needed.

... to block the ads ...
Hm, if anyone's Total Commander should display ads, then that person must be using a cracked Total Commander version. I have not seen any ads inside Total Commander for the past (... counting ...) 18 years. :P
