Is there a way to display icons of hidden dirs like in explorer .. a bit transparent?

Yes and no. You could use an iconlib which contains half transparent icons. Here is an example, just copy, unmime and unzip the file from the following thread (provided by the user Norbert):

A real transparency display (display non transparent icons as half transparent) of icons is not supported.
