Open Lister using alt+3

Post by *Senyai »

I can't open Lister using alt+3, the shortcut I specified in Misc.

Set external viewer path to an executable, specified Alt+3 shortcut to cm_List and and voilà, Alt+3 opens external viewer instead of Lister.

Somehow cm_ListInternalOnly command is unaffected.

Please, can we have alt+3 to open Lister in 9.0?

lots of love.

What is the benefit compared to using F3 and Alt-F3
which already allow to use internal or external viewer ?
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3527)

The benefit are:
  • * Freedom to change the shortcuts and have them damn work;
    * Pressing Alt+3 reduces the wrist work, which is very important for me;
    * F3 can be awkward to press, like on Kinesis keyboards;
    * F3 can be absent.

Hmm .. A can assign Alt-3 to cm_ListInternalOnly without any problem. For me works fine here ...
It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.
