Unable to log in to ghisler.ch after logged out

After being logged out after some days of not visiting this forum, I am unable to log in back, until I clear all site cookies.
It happens with both Firefox and Opera, latest versions.

Since I did not find a forum support section for this kind of problems, I post it here.

Yes, this issue has been occuring from time to time (for years). Interestingly it happened to me much more often in the last two weeks - don't know if it was my browser only.

The forum seems to have issues to overwrite or delete the old cookies during the logon procedure. I'm not sure why (but I'm not a web designer/programmer).
