How to configure Everything?

Post by *vdijken »

When Everything is running (started outside TC) it is used to find files. If it is not running, this line in wincmd.ini Everything=""C:\Program Files\Everything\Everything.exe" "-startup"" should start Everything, but I get the shown window:
The shown path (here c:\ ) depends on the path of the current panel.
I cannot find, also after studying the help, how to configure it in such a way that Everything is started in the background when it is not running.

The error is coming from everything, not from TC. It seems to interpret the parameter as a directory. The following _should_ work:

Everything=""C:\Program Files\Everything\Everything.exe" -startup"
