Missing second progress bar in TC9RC1 when copying

Post by *redfox »

When I copy multiple files (F5) with TC 9, I only see the progress bar of the current file, not (also) the other one with the general progress.
Only a files count is displayed.

Did I miss some new settings? Thanks.

EDIT: I tried to copy the older wincmd.ini from TC9beta10 into RC1 and it works normally now. A bunch of new config entries has been inserted into this file with the newest TC updates. One of them causes the above problem. But which one..?

EDIT2: Finally, I found the problem: The RC1 update switched the variable CountMarked from 1 to 0, which caused to dismiss the second progress bar during the copy process. If you have a similar problem, change the value back to 1.

Configuration -> "Options..." -> Operation -> "Calculate space occupied by subdirectories" -> "before copying/deleting"

But it is NOT a new setting - so omehow you must have changed it yourself.

petermad: As I wrote above, the RC1 update turned the value to 0 itself, I did not change anything.
