Exactly. But, as Ghisler already stated, this is far from ideal.
If so, is there any way to create buttons to set them for both panels by press of the button?
Possibly, by using multiple commands on one button, but I don't know how such a command would look like. I'm sure there are more qualified people who can tell you more on this topic (you can also search the forum).

If you for example want to use custom column view no. 4 in the source side and custom column view no. 2 in the target just use this command in a button:

cm_SrcCustomView4,cm_TrgCustomView2

Danish Total Commander Translator
TC 11.03 32+64bit on Win XP 32bit & Win 7, 8.1 & 10 (22H2) 64bit, 'Everything' 1.5.0.1371a
TC 3.50 on Android 6 & 13
Try: TC Extended Menus | TC Languagebar | TC Dark Help | PHSM-Calendar

Would that FIX the column widths for the Size, Date and Attributes columns???

Because THAT would be what I am after.

It's my only and greatest WinCommander annoyance.

It would be nice too, if they were Excel-like columns where we can double click the edges and they automatically snap to the correct width.
