"Check for updates" isn't shown in Windows 10

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Not confirmed for RC6
Here the part of the default english menu file:

POPUP "&Help"
MENUITEM "&Index\tF1", cm_HelpIndex
MENUITEM "&Keyboard", cm_keyboard
MENUITEM "&Registration Info", cm_register
MENUITEM "&Visit Totalcmd's Web Site", 640
MENUITEM "&Check for updates now", 650
MENUITEM SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "&About Total Commander...", cm_About
END_POPUP

As you can clearly see its there.

So you don't use the default menu file.
Check your settings.

Not confirmed either. Maybe you are using an older wcmd_eng.lng file?

I used WCMD_ENG.MNU file. Perhaps, this is the reason I didn't have that entry. Thanks!

The feature works great for me. You probably just have different settings.
