[9.0 final] every time the left panel ist active

Post by *Mikefield »

Not sure if it works as designed. So the right panel is active, Save positions, Save Settings. Restart TotalCommander and the left panel is active. Why it doesn't starts in the last active panel?

It works as designed
Have a look in the help
Wincmd.ini:
ActiveRight=0 1: The right listbox will be active when Total Commander starts
or
Command line switches:
/P= Sets the active panel at program start: /P=L left, /P=R right. Overrides wincmd.ini option ActiveRight=.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3527)

Thanks for the fast answer Horst.Epp. I prefer the Wincmd.ini option.
But it's time for a suggestion then.

As we have only a fixed option which panel is active wehen Total Commander starts:

I suggest that Total Commander will remember the last active panel and will use it after start.

I guess the current solutions are enough
because normal TC users don't start and stop TC so often.
Also the other side is only a mouse click away.
