Dropbox connection slow and/or hangs

I installed the Cloud plugin 1.08 to connect with Dropbox. However, the connection is slow and interrupts my internet connection. Synchronizing by Dropbox performs well. What can be wrong?

Hmmm, no idea - the plugin uses the Internet Explorer HTTP/HTTPS functions. They should usually be very fast.

It seems it has to do with my router at home as via the wifi on my work it works properly. Do you have perhaps any idea what could cause my router bad or not transferring the Internet Explorer HTTP/HTTPS functions?

Maybe wrong packet size (MTU)? This is rather difficult to diagnose.
