Need to switch between Lister windows with Ctrl+Tab

Post by *nemadeka »

Good day everyone. I had to install the latest version of TC, and thanks to this I had a chance to check it and see that I can still make a simple suggestion.

I often have two or more Lister windows open from which I copy data, to be pasted somewhere. (Being able to use the cursor keys in Lister is just great, thanks a lot, Christian!)

It would be divinely nice if I could switch between Lister Windows with Ctrl+Tab (and, of course, Shift+Ctrl+Tab), like it is done in Excel, for example.

Note: Of course, I know about Alt+Tab, Alt+Esc and stuff like that. I just want to bypass the other running applications when I shuffle the Lister data. And I almost never use the mouse.

Thank you.

One way to implement this would be to introduce a single Lister window mode where Lister windows are displayed as tabs or as a MDI window. The hotkeys would come for free.

Very reasonable, because this would also save the taskbar space.
