Use only F1, F2 for drive change instead of ALT+F1, ALT+F2

Post by *Laszlo »

So because nothing uses F1, or F2 I think Total Commander could use these for drive change instead of ALT+F1, or ALT+F2. What do you think?

You can redefine them for yourself, but I don't think it's a good idea to remap them by default. Why? F1 always calls the help and there are a lot of people - including myself - who have remapped F2 to rename function/command cm_RenameSingleFile or cm_RenameOnly (instead of the "finger-breaking" Shift+F6 combination).

Yes, I can do it myself, but for other people who don't. By the way, the F2 rename thing is very clever, never thought of that, so thanks :)

Laszlo,
nothing uses F1, or F2
:?:
F1 is Help, F2 is Refresh.
