Total Commander

I can connect to my samba raspberry pi picture files and I can see the files without problems but i can't see its thumbnails in the list.

If i connect to my phone picture folders, the thumbnails are shown perfectly.

Is it possible to show the thumbnails for Samba Lan folders?

Unfortunately thumbnails currently only work with files on your phone or tablet, not via LAN. Why? Total Commander would have to download all the pictures just to create their thumbnails.

I should like to support pamino's request to show
thumbnails for images on connected devices.

It is very frustrating not to able to see thumbnails to
select pictures (on eg NAS). I appreciate the
performance issue so perhaps it could be an option for
those of us willing to sacrifice some performance for the
facility, or perhaps caching might help.
