hello
I recently updated windows 10 to the latest released on March 2017 (1703 15067.13). I did not a clean install, because it requires much time to do and i just wanted to try this new version of windows.
Version of TC is 9.0a and version of QuickSearch Extended is 2.2.3 (although file version info still gives 2.2.1)
Something strange happens when i run TC on this new win 10. Basically when i try to search for something using hotkeys, tcmatch does not show up and TC hangs and somehow freeze and the only way to unlock it, it's to terminate the process.
So i tried to debug TC and tcmatch.dll to see what's going on.
I found that the problem is when tcmatch.dll is trying to lauch tcmatch.exe using the infamous function ShellExecuteW. That is the point where total commander hangs and it waits for tcmatch.exe to spawn which never happens and so it freezes. It happens everytime i restart TC and search for some file using hotkeys.
However if i start TC and then manually start tcmatch.exe, it doesn't freeze and it works as always.
On previous version of windows TC was working great
Anyone is experiencing the same problem?
