hi,

maybe i can't find the option but i searched !
here the fact (on windows ntfs system file) :

on my left, i have "angie.mp3" (new file) and in my right, i have "angie.MP3" (old file).

1.
when i select the left file and hit the REPLACE button ,it runs ! But the CASE of the extension is not replaced... on the right, the UPPERCASE ".MP3" reminds whereas i would prefer replaced too !

2.
The problem is the same while you have a duplicate question to replace it...

3.
i didn't try the sync operation neither the linux filesystem, but i really HOPE the extension CASE replacement is taking in charge... imagine the little bug..when you do a sync.

have a good day

As I know, Windows does it that way, and I'm pretty happy that it is so, because I face another situation much more often: when I update some file and I wish to keep its exact name while new one has incorrect case (e.g. I copy README.TXT over Readme.txt).
