Can we have separate font settings (size & font) for the Thumbnails view please.

Why?

Because i'm having to size the thumbnails to that they fit within the limitations of the file list font size. I have 4 lines of meta data under each thumb if I could shrink the font I would be able to fit more thumbs in a panel.

If you can still read the shrinked down font below thumbnails why is this font too small in other views?

For me, the other views are build around textual information. The text in lines must be clearly and conveniently readable.

The thumbnail view on the other hand focuses on pictures. Textual data is just something I glance over. It needs to be there to immediately provide me with some context, but I rarely care about every single letter.

So I support this suggestion.

I also totally agree with umbra. the possibility to define a custom font size in thumbnail view is important.
