Hello, I would like to ask, if we can have Thumbnail Support, when we use the WebDAV Plugin. Could this please be added?

WebDAV doesn't support any commands to download just thumbnails. TC would have to download the entire images just to create a thumbnail for each. Most JPGs made by cameras do contain a preview image, but its location isn't fixed, it can be at the start or the end of the file.

Since other apps can display such thumbnails, does this mean that this other apps downloads pictures first, so that they could make thumbnails work?

Most probably yes.

ohhh..that would explain why apps like mixplorer and solid explorer takes a long time to open such a connection the first time. they are faster a second time, because they seem to cache the thumbnails locally. i begin to understand. thx for clarification.
