SFTP integration

Would be great to have built-in SFTP (Secure FTP / SSH file transfer) capability. Technically speaking SFTP has nothing to do with the original FTP protocol (that's FTPS which is FTP over SSL). But nevertheless it would be a great feature, especially seeing that traditional FTP clients usually have this feature as well.
We do need it with key-based authentication as well though, which for some reason most Windows applications make into a real hassle to set up.
I know currently there is a SFTP plugin, but that one is massively clunky, has a stupid interface and is just very unintuitive if it eventually works.
Basically what I'm saying, and I'm sure this is an oversimplified thought, is if TC supports FTP and FTPS, why not also SFTP.
