Right-click on "prompt status bar": Menu-->copy

Idea: If you right-click into the area of the "prompt", a menu appears with the possiblity of copying the shown path into Windows clipboard.

In the example, "C:\" would be copied to the clipboard.

A toolbar button with the command cm_CopySrcPathToClip can help
Edit: I'm not against the idea, I just provide a workaround.

Thank you for that workaround.
The disadavantage of your solution is that one fat toolbar button, which is always visible and wastes toolbar space.
My suggestion would be "invisible" -unless you right-click into that area- and wound not change the overall GUI apperance

Unfortunately this area is hidden on my setup.

BTW: I've assigned a hotkey for
cm_CopySrcPathToClip : <Control+Shift+C>
Nothing against this suggestion, but wouldn't it be more flexible if
any area in TC could be extended with
configurable context menus using the same UI already used for the start menu?
