search function with button

Hello,
i am searching for an option to
1. achieve a saved search directly with a button
2. or to use a command with a button, so that a search with a defined search-parameter is achieved.

I have tried with a command (in the change field of a button) like:
cm_SearchFor (Search for) "*.xls" in "DIRECTORY" but this does not work.

Has anyone a hint for a solution?

Internal commands don't accept params so your problem is unsolveable with tc's build in functions atm.

PS: one thread is enough
