[BUG] 08.03.05 Added: If ZIP encryption dll is installed...

Post by *icfu »

Now that encryption of RAR, ACE, etc... is possible using alternative DLL, the radiobutton should not switch back to zip anymore when encryption checkbox is set.
"(ZIP Only)" should be removed now, too, I think.

The idea is that if you install the zip crypto dll, you want to use that...

Just set encryption first and rar then to encrypt with rar.

I don't understand this answer. Of course I want to use it but what has this to do with switching radiobutton back to ZIP when RAR was marked before? I want to pw-protect RAR archives in this case, not ZIP.
Just set encryption first and rar then to encrypt with rar.
Unbelievable but this workaround I have found myself, thanks... ;)

:) Good evening,

- I agree with Jeff, so I propose you something like :

Code: Select all

5491="Encr&ypt (ZIP, and others if available)"
- I tested with the standalone English language file and in French too, that fits alright and looks clearer…
¤ The comma “ ZIP, ” is important !
- What do you think ?

Working: Zip, Rar, Ace
Not working: Arj
Unsing WinRar, DosAce und DosArj...

BTW 5490 should be changed too...

@Sir_SiLvA
The ARJ encryption works. I use ARJ v2.60.

I'm using Arj 2.82 and the decryption works but
when trying to unpack the samefile with tc i only get
errors like "external packer not found", "crc error"
while the dosarj alone can unpack the file without probs...

You have to configure an external arj unpacker - TC does not contain any internal decryption, but will use the external unpacker if available.
