Do you show all the examples from the example folder gs10012w64.exe?
The thing is that the IrfanView Postscript plugin does not create the GS_LIB environment variable, which specifies the paths to fonts and gs libraries. Because of this, most of the files do not show for me. Only those that do not require fonts and libraries. And in my plugin 1.8.
6 I create this variable automatically and show almost all the files from the examples.

All files from the examples dir are working,
only a few from the cjk sub-dir give decode errors.
So for me that's all I need :)

Everything 1.5.0.1373a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.3, Listary Pro 6.3.0.73

Yes, with the latest version of the gs libraries, everything also works for me. I'm just using the old version, it's only 9 MB. There it is necessary to register paths to fonts and libraries.

Version 1.8.7:
* internal changes.
ATTENTION!!! In the existing irfanview.ini file, you need to rename the section
[Options] in [IrfanView].

Works fine here after a normal update from version 1.8.5.
This time, my IrfanView Postscript settings are still working :)

Yes, now if nothing is written in irfanview.ini, the settings are taken from the postscript plugin. I hope everyone should be happy now.
I don't have any more plans yet. If only some extensions are added to IrfanView.

Please wait a bit with your messages - I'll test the topic "TC IrfanView Plugin" again now...

After that I will open a new topic in the forum "Total Commander (English)" and post my feedback and my test results there.
We need to get away from the topic "TC IrfanView Plugin" here and switch to the topic "TCSumatraPDF Plugin".
After completing my tests, I can strongly recommend the TCSumatraPDF plugin! :D
Please see: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
I also published my answers in the second post here.

Related to the plugin
A new version 4.65 of IrfanView and its plugins are available.
For my test files, the TC IrfanView plugin works fine with it.
Btw. IrfanView now has a dark mode.
The plugin works with the x64 IrfanView also under a 32bit TC.
No need to install 2 versions of IrfanView.

In connection with the release of IrfanView 4.65, I updated the TCIrfanView plugin:
Version 1.8.8:
* internal changes.
Before installation, remove the existing detection line.

An interesting feature has emerged. The new version IrfanView doesn't read my heic test files. Therefore, in the TS assembly I left IrfanView 4.62, but updated the plugins from IrfanView 4.65.

In 64 bit TC, it can not view the PDN file (what the paint.net file) with 64-bit ifFanview but 32-bit, it seem to no data in it.

What happens when you do the following?

F3 Lister (irfanview)

Code: Select all

Ctrl + rotate mouse wheel
Press the space bar
Press the left/right arrow key
Press the letter 'e'
Press the letter 'i'
You can't have tried too much yourself, can you?
