Highlight background of selected files

Currently only a green checkmark indicates when a file/folder is selected. It's hard to distinguis, because it can blend into the image thumbnails or file icons. It would be nice if Total Commander highlighted the background of the selected items, like the Windows desktop version does. Or like the Android "Files" app does.

Unfortunately a highlighted background is already used when in non-touch mode, e.g. when using a USB keyboard.

Yes, but that's not an issue. Look at for example the Android "Files" app. It has gray background when navigating with keyboard, and blue background (and checkmark) for selected files.

Maybe I can add it as an option. There is no standard highlight color, so the user would have to choose one.

Thanks. That would be perfect. An option, customizable highlight color.

Hi

I would like to ask which version will have this option? I've tried the 3.42, but I don't see it.
